Dharmsala
Dharamshala is a beautiful hill station situated in the snowcapped mountains of Himachal Pradesh. McLeod Ganj
Mcleodganj is located in upper Dharamsala and is one of the favorite tourist destinations of Indians and foreigners alike. It is located at an altitude of 1700 meters above the sea level in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The city is known as the seat of the famous Buddhist figure, the Dalai Lama. Named after David McLeod, it is a very popular learning center of Tibetan culture and the teachings of Buddhism.
Mcleodganj is considered to be blessed by nature and has been provided by the most amazing scenic charms and splendid environment. Apart from the Buddhist pilgrims, many tourists visit this beautiful town to witness the magnanimities it has to offer.

Triund
Triund is the crown jewel of Dharamshala , situated in the laps of Dhauladhar mountains, it has the perfect view of the Dhauladhar mountains on one side and Kangra valley on the other. Triund is a very popular trekking spot . Triund attracts a lot of tourist every year from India and all over the world .
Triund trek can be described as a tranquil trek which can be easily accomplished by almost all age groups . Triund has an unambiguous byway which goes through a beautiful mixed forest of oak, deodar and rhododendron . Trek is fairly easy for the first five kilometers but the last one kilometer may require a bit of toil , the last one kilometer is popularly known as the “22 curves” as it has 22 tiring curves before you finally reach Triund.
Tentative Itinerary
Itinerary
- Day 1:- Departure from Ahmedabad by train.
- Day 2:- Arrival at Delhi/Pathankot, departure for McLeodgunj by bus / taxi, night stay McLeodgunj / Bhagsu.
- Day 3:- Acclimatization and trek to Bahl village en route Dharamkot and Naddi. afternoon adventure activities. night at Bahl.
- Day 4:- Early start, the mountain trail continues uphill for most of the day.Cross the Bhated River and follow a rough trail which climbs steeply through the forest to Galu Temple. From here the terrain changes to a wide paved mountain path as we continue our gradual uphill climb all the way till Triund. Triund is set on an alpine meadow, high up on a ridge facing snow-capped peaks of Dhauladhar on one side and beautiful Kangra Valley on the other. Camp here for the overnight stay.
- Day 5:- trek to Snow Line (if accessible), then back to McLeadGunj via the finest stretch the trekking in the mountains.
- Day 6:- Local sightseeing & town visit.
- Day 7:- Departure from McLeadgunj by bus / taxi up to Pathankot, departure for Ahmedabad by train.
- Day 8:- Arraival at Ahmedabad
